If you are aged 18 or over and live in Northumberland or North Tyneside you can request a free sexually transmitted infection (STI) home testing kit - use the form at the bottom of this page.
A sexually transmitted infection (STI), is a bacterial or viral infection that can be passed on through unprotected sexual contact. Some STIs have symptoms (see further details below) but sometimes you can have an STI with no symptoms and not even know you have it! We recommend regular testing and to test every time you change sexual partners.
Home testing kits are quick and easy to do and can be delivered to your door in discreet packaging. They are only suitable if you do not have any symptoms of an STI.
If you do have symptoms please contact us to book an appointment. Call 0344 728 0554.
