Our Intermediate Care Unit provides 24 hour qualified nursing and specialist therapy in a safe and relaxed environment.
What to expect
You will have your own room and communal social spaces. Specialist staff will work with you, your family and / or carers to design a package of support tailored to your needs and requirments focusing on helping you return home as soon as you are able.

What to bring with you
During your stay you will need the usual items you would take for a short break, such as:
- Nightclothes, day clothes and well-fitting footware
- Toiletries
- Any medications you are taking, including any prescriptions or over the counter medicines
- Spectacles and any walking or hearing aids and dentures
- Proof of exemption for your prescriptions and proof of identification for collecting certain medicines, if appropriate
- Books or magazines

From the coast road, when heading towards the coast, turn right onto Billy Mill Avenue at the Billy Mill crossroads traffic lights (historically known as Billy Mill roundabout).
Turn left at the first roundabout onto Regency Gardens. Continue straight down this road to reach a set of traffic lights. Continue straight at these traffic lights onto Queen Alexandra Road.
Then take the second left onto Osbourne Gardens. The intermediate care unit is located at the end of this street.

You will have your own room with en-suite toilet, and communal social spaces.
Open visiting, but no visiting allowed during protected meal times.
These are: Breakfast 8:30am-9:30am, lunch 12:30pm to 1.30pm, tea 4.30pm to 5.30pm.
