As of March 2023, some of our Wallsend-based community services have moved to the brand-new, state-of-the-art Hadrian Health Centre from Wallsend Health Centre.

Community services that have relocated include:

  • Anticoagulant service
  • Diabetes
  • District nursing
  • Neuro rehabilitation/physiotherapy
  • Podiatry
  • Speech and language therapy
  • North Tyneside Talking Therapies

Patients who access the above community services at Wallsend Health Centre will be contacted to inform them when the service they access will be changing location to Hadrian Health Centre.

A GP practice, Hadrian Health Centre, is also located on the ground floor of the building. It is made up of two practices who have merged together, Park Road Medical Practice and Portugal Place Health Centre.

By integrating primary and community care under one roof, patients will be able to access a number of services all in one place with greater ease than ever before.

By road

Hadrian Health Centre is next to the Forum Shopping Centre, located in the heart of Wallsend and is just a 10-minute walk, or two-minute drive, from Wallsend Health Centre.
