When patients are admitted for day case surgery there are no facilities for visitors to stay on the unit. Relatives bringing patients in will be given an approximate time the patients can go home and a contact number to call. |

As it is a day surgery unit, there is no visiting other than to pick patients up. |

2 visitors per bed when patients are ready to go home. |

We will contact relatives to arrange transportation home. Relatives will also be given a contact number to call the hospital if they wish. |
