Richard joined the trust as a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee in August 2022, having previously been executive director at Newcastle University for over 14 years and supporting various not for profit organisations.
Richard studied BSc mathematics at Van Mildert College, University of Durham and went on to get a further professional qualification and became a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
Having lived in the likes of London and even various spots in America, Richard felt at home in the North East during his studies and has moved back, currently living with his family in Alnwick.
